• All prospective members must be legally registered and operational in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

Applicants must meet at least one of the specific sector requirements listed below, demonstrating significant involvement and commitment to the e-mobility sector:

1. Job Creation with E-mobility: For organizations focused on creating jobs and workforce development in the e-mobility sector.

   • Requirement: Must have created at least 100 new jobs in the e-mobility sector in the last 12 months or commit to creating at least 100 new jobs in the next 6 months. Membership status will be temporary during this commitment period until the requirement is achieved.

2. E-mobility Infrastructure Provider: For companies developing and maintaining infrastructure such as charging stations and battery swapping facilities.

   • Requirement: Must have installed or maintained at least 30 charging stations or battery swapping facilities in the last 12 months or commit to installing at least 30 in the next 6 months. Membership status will be temporary during this commitment period until the requirement is achieved.

3. E-mobility Finance Provider: For financial institutions supporting the financing of e-mobility solutions.

   • Requirement: Must have provided financing for at least 100 e-mobility vehicle purchases in the last 12 months or commit to providing financing for at least 100 in the next 6 months. Membership status will be temporary during this commitment period until the requirement is achieved.

4. E-mobility Manufacturer and Distributor: For businesses manufacturing and distributing electric vehicles and related components.

   • Requirement: Must have manufactured or distributed at least 500 electric vehicles in the last 12 months or commit to manufacturing or distributing at least 500 in the next 6 months. Membership status will be temporary during this commitment period until the requirement is achieved.

5. E-mobility Service Providers: For businesses offering services related to e-mobility, such as maintenance, repair, software solutions, and after-sales support.

   • Requirement: Must have serviced or repaired at least 500 electric vehicles, or developed and deployed software solutions for at least 500 clients in the last 12 months or commit to doing so in the next 6 months. Membership status will be temporary during this commitment period until the requirement is achieved.

• Members must agree to share information requested by the association and comply with collective decisions made by the association that apply to all members.

Members are expected to actively participate in the association’s activities, including attending meetings, events, and contributing to initiatives and committees.

• Members must demonstrate a commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility in their operations and business practices.

Members are required to pay an annual membership fee. This fee supports the association’s activities, events, and initiatives.
